When photographer Tafv Sampson first read the manuscript for her mother Nancy Rommelmann’s story collection Transportation, she immediately asked to shoot the book’s cover. The results of that shoot were so spectacular a series of limited edition prints, a traveling exhibit, and this show catalog were born.
Tafv Sampson is a photographer living in Brooklyn. She has worked in the art departments of films such as Being Flynn and Admission, and on countless editorial shoots that have run in W, Vogue and Vanity Fair. She grew up in Portland and Los Angeles.
